Discover (2023)

“Discover” is a self-portrait holding a candle in the dark. The light is small and doesn't fill the space; it only carves out a few inches of certainty. I drew it in charcoal on purpose: no color to lean on, just value and edge. For me, this piece is about searching without guarantees. I don't see the answer, but keep looking anyway.
