Additional Details | “Girl in the Mirror” is an exaggerated moment where my own field of vision was so narrowed by an obsession with a single pimple on my face that I failed to notice that the water was on until the sink overflowed. The "real" counter is messy and imperfect, filled with wet cotton pads, a dripping faucet, and water overflowing toward the edge. The reflection in the mirror is clear, and the skin is clean. This visual exaggeration represents how we fixate only on what we care about while ignoring the bigger crises around us.
